The fundraiser took place Sunday, October
19, 2003 at the Clear Channel Metroplex in Little Rock, Arkansas.
The event was a huge success, raising several thousand dollars. We
had 13 Bands on 2 Stages, Harmless T. Jester, a Silent
Auction including a guitar signed by Evanescence, Gretsch
Hawaiian guitar, studio time, art, and more. Twelve
of the bands were recorded live and you can order
your Peterpalooza CD today! You can also buy
a cool black and blue Peterpalooza T-shirt or just make

Lovers Unite
to Help a Friend in Need
Since 1980, Nightflying
Magazine has been Arkansas’ ONLY statewide publication
about Arkansas music.
For 23 years, publisher Peter Read has devoted Nightflying to
promoting the musicians, club owners and all others tied to the
Arkansas music scene. Now all who have benefited from his devotion
have their chance to return the favor.
Peter suffered an aneurysm on May 23, and an ensuing
stroke several days later, and like many other self-employed Americans
he now faces a mountain of medical bills, about $250,000. Professionals
representing every aspect of the state’s music business joined
forces to offset as much of that cost as possible with Peterpalooza,
a concert fundraiser and web site. For full details, read
